Mission
Statement
The purpose of the explorer program is to expose
young men and women to the fire service so they
may decide if this is a career for them to
pursue. We accomplish this by teaching
these individuals firefighting techniques, EMS,
proper uniform and personal codes of conduct;
furthermore, by allowing these individuals to
complete ride-alongs with fire crews and
participate in live practical exercises.
